December 21, was the last day of school for the year 2007. Heidy's pre school had a party!! Of course I helped with it. I am the "old" mom and know how to organize partys, they tell me. The first thing we did was make reindeer food to put in the yard on Christmas Eve, the oats and popcorn are for the reindeer and the red sparkles (they were edible, in case a child decided to taste the reindeer food) in it are to show them where to land. You know, they reflect off of Rudolf's nose and it guides them right to where to land!! And we all know that Santa has cookies and Milk in the house to eat!!We made gingerbread houses. Well, the kids made gingerbread houses.

They are concentrating on what to add next. We made a plateful of goodies and things they could put on the houses. Every two kids shared a plate.
See my house mom!!!
Opening gifts. The teacher had them to bring a book, instead of toys. I loved this idea. The girls opened gifts brought by girls. The boys opened boy gifts.

Here's my book Mommy!!! It's a Jesus book!!!
She is "reading" the book.
Telling the story of the birth of Jesus.
Melanie reading the book that Chloe got as a gift.
We were getting ready to leave and Heidy had to "read" the book to Miss Cynthia, the director of the preschool.
