Destination, Florida -- Beach Wedding

We have friends that are getting married in Destin, FL. We decided to go down with some friends, Mark decided to stay home. ( He's a party pooper sometimes) We are driving, it will be about 11 hours.




Heidy loves her carseat. For the first 23 months of her life, while still in Guatemala, she never rode in one. But took right to it when she got home with us. If she asked once she asked 100 times, "Are we going to the beach?" "Are we going to a wedding?" "Are we going to Florida?"

Skyler and Kylie had the back seat and boy was it full of their stuff!!! I think they enjoyed the movies with the earphones, a lot of the times all we heard was giggles!! And them singing to the music in the IPOD.

We did get to go to the beach on Saturday morning. We met up with all the folks that were there for the wedding, a lot are friends from here. Heidy loves the water, and I love the gulf side!! ( I know it looks like she is alone, but she wasn't)

Sissy Skyler made Heidy a mermaid!!! You can barely see it, but she is one!! They had fun covering each other with sand and digging big holes!!

Heidy and her friend Ava, from here, played together at the beach. They had fun!

This is Travis, the groom!! Heidy wanted her picture with him. He is a sweety!! He and our son Jordan, grew up together.

This is us on the beach before the wedding. We had a great time.

During the wedding...... such a beautiful couple and view. His uncle married them.

I think this is the way to go!!! Can't get any prettier decorations than the ocean!!

At the reception with Amber, the bride. She was just floating on air!! She is a great girl and it's been fun watching her grow up!

We had a great weekend!! It was busy and we got home very late ( early on Monday am). The girls were all actually very good. But it was very much worth going!! Congratulations to Travis and Amber!!!
