Heidy's Plate Surgery

We found out that Heidy will have a day surgery to take the steel plate and 4 screws out of her leg, where she had her hip surgery. Can you believe it's been a year on the 26th of October? The surgery will be November 7. She will not be able to go to gymnastics or jump on the trampoline or anything like that for about 6 weeks because of the holes the screws leave when they take them out. But no casts or anything like that!!! Tonight, we were talking about it and I mentioned that she will have to miss gymnastics for a few weeks after we take the plate out of her leg and she said "NO, I want the plate in my leg and a spoon!!!" I just about died laughing!!! She even got tickled at her joke!! Then she added "Can I have a knife too?" Then we laughed even more! It was a true giggle session!!
