It's Heidy's first ever field trip and the pre school visited the Fire Station in our town. Last night Heidy wasn't sure she wanted to go at all, she said it was scary!! I think what she is scared of is the sirens. I tried to convince her that the firemen take care of us and the truck isn't scary. Anyway this morning she got up and decided that yes we were going. She doesn't normally go to pre school on Thursday but for a field trip we will!!! Thank goodness there was no fire while her class was there, she would have thought I lied to her!!
This is the fireman that talked to the children. They listened well!
The two year old class went first to look at the fire trucks, so we waited. The teachers played little games with them while they were waiting for the big kids to go in and look at the trucks!!

It's the three year old class's turn!!! They stood so nice and quietly while he told them about the truck and his clothes. I think Heidy was still a little nervous.

It was a fun short field trip and the first of many to come for Heidy!!
