Sea World in San Diego

We loved Sea World!!! This is the Pet show the first thing we did. Not sure we could get out dogs to do these tricks!!

This is the perfect thing for Heidy to pose by, she drinks about 5 or 6 glasses of milk a day!

They had sombreros on the table, for us to take, everyone at our table voted Heidy should have ours. Not sure if it is because she is from Guatemala or they just didn't want to take it home!! I think its the latter!!

Heidy and Papa Dancing

Heidy loves to dance. At one of our dinners for Mark's business trip they had a band playing. Her she is wanting her Papa to dance with her. Now keep in mind, Mark is not a dancer.

She got him on the dance floor!!! Look at that smile on her face.

Ok never mind Papa, we will slow dance, but I will keep teaching you!

San Diego Zoo

When we were in San Diego, the one place I wanted to go to was the Zoo. We went with one of the families we met on our trip. Carrie and Scott, and their little ones. Madelyn and Isabelle.

One of my favorite animals, the elephants.

We have a friend named Donald Franklin and Heidy calls all trutles Donnie's. She knows they are trutles but she calls them that anyway. So when we saw this giant "Donnie" we had to get a picture of Heidy on it!!

Last night for dinner they had face painters for the kids. Now I think Heidy is addicted, She LOVED it!!

Skyler you are really too big for the cars!! She didn't ride, just sat in it.

Maybe they were over tired!! They had a blast! We all did.

Adoption Reunion

This road trip to Pennsylvania for the CCI Reunion was fun and Heidy enjoyed watching movies with earphones!! She did a great job of riding 12 hours in 2 days!!


This is Tim, Heidy really liked him and wanted to do everything with him. Here they are looking at the ducks and fish. Jason better watch out, Tim might be competition!!!


On the Amish tour we learned a lot of differences and similarities between the Amish and the English as we are called. At this farm, they let you take a picture in their buggy, I love this picture of Skyler, Heidy and our friend, Kylee.

Another farm had a petting area for the lids, Heidy had fun petting and feeding the animals.

Then she took a rest on the swing!!

We got dressed for dinner and Heidy had to get all her girly accessories!! She is a true prissy girl!! She had it all, the sunglasses, the necklace and bracelet, the purse with a wallet and $4.00 in it!!!

It was a great road trip. It was great to meet some people face to face. The girls were good, Yvette and I were still talking at the end of it!! She is a great road tripper!!!
