Earthquake Update

We are still having lots of tremors and aftershocks. Not too bad of ones though. There was not much damage around town. Lots of chimney damage, but nothing major. No major injuries either, a few cuts a bruises.

We do have a crack in the basement wall, from floor to ceiling. But Mark said that can be fixed, thank God!

Thanks for praying for us!!

Oh Debbie, I am so glad that it wasn't bad! We have been holding you in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Wow Debbie! That's all anyone has talked about all weekend here. I didn't feel either quake but several people I know did. I can't imagine being so close to the epicenter. Glad everyone is safe and sound.

I heard you had another big aftershock this morning. I hope everyone is OK!

I can't even imagine an earthquake! Anything else gives some kind of warning and there is some kind of protection but man, an earthquake would be terrifying!! They said it could be felt all the way into Missouri (and that is only 20 minutes from here). I am relieved to know all is OK with your family!!!

Glad you are all doing well and that there was not too much damage!!! Also, glad that the basement crack will be a fairly easy fix!

Have a great day!

That is crazy! I would be scared if that kept happening to me! Or maybe just get used to it. Are you oaky!!?

Come see Bailey's french country on my blog when you get a chance. it is probably a size smaller than Heidy's. We will have to post pics of them in the same dress side by side one of these days!!

Unreal!!!! It's amazing it happened where it did! Glad everyone was ok! We had a 2.1 here once (before I experienced a "real" on in Guatemala) and I thought the world was coming to an end. LOL SCARY STUFF! :)

I thought of your family immediately when I heard where the epicenter was. I'm glad there was so little damage. I felt both quakes here as well. Hubby (Geological Engr) says it's all good and helps release pressure. It felt so much like the quake in Guate last summer!

You are on my mind friend! I was cleaning out old tax docs and saw your name on some Creative Memories stuff.

Love the party pics!

Debbie,

I grew up in California and remeber being in lots of smaller tremors. Always scary when they start until the end. I am SO glad you are okay!!

I am so glad you are all ok! I know how scary they can be. I have to say that since I moved out of CA I didn't think I had to worry about them anymore.... I guess you just never know...
Stay safe my friend.
