Referral pictures.... August 2008 a 3 1/2 yr old girl named Eftu
After three court dates, we traveled to Ethiopia on March 21 and got to get Eftu we will name Eden Louise Eftu on March 23, 2008. 3 years to the day that we got Heidy in Guatemala!!
She warmed up to us very quickly! This is the same day!

While we were there, we stayed at the Ethiopia Guest house, there was another couple there getting their son, Biruke. They are Meggan and Tim. Very sweet couple. They and Jordan and Rachel went out to a drop in center and saw and helped with some children there. God has given them the heart to want to help the Ethiopian people like we do. We were blessed to meet them!
We are very blessed to have the opportunity to be Eden's mom and dad!! Thank you God!!

Heartfelt congratualtions! Eden is beautiful. I knew this was in the works but had no idea the process is so quick. Heidi and Eden look like they will be partners in crime before you know it. How special! Congratulations Again!

Debbie....I had no idea you were adopting again! Congratulations to your family! Eden is just precious!! She has such a radiant smile....what a joy! I have been rather adsent in blog land lately, but just saw your news in bloglines and had to stop by to congratulate you all!......we are anxiously awaiting the homecoming of a new 5 year old niece from Ethiopia too....and we can't wait!!
