Finally Introducing.... Our daughter, Eden

Referral pictures.... August 2008 a 3 1/2 yr old girl named Eftu

After three court dates, we traveled to Ethiopia on March 21 and got to get Eftu we will name Eden Louise Eftu on March 23, 2008. 3 years to the day that we got Heidy in Guatemala!!

She warmed up to us very quickly! This is the same day!

While we were there, we stayed at the Ethiopia Guest house, there was another couple there getting their son, Biruke. They are Meggan and Tim. Very sweet couple. They and Jordan and Rachel went out to a drop in center and saw and helped with some children there. God has given them the heart to want to help the Ethiopian people like we do. We were blessed to meet them!

We are very blessed to have the opportunity to be Eden's mom and dad!! Thank you God!!

The cats

As some of you all know, we had to bring Milady's cat home with us, because she tried to jump on the baby. Out cat Skittles and her cat Gertie have fought each other and then they have ignored each other and now they have moments that they actually get along.... So I thought I would show a picture of them together. It isn't a great picture but they were together, under the rocking chair in our room. Aren't they cute??? Gertie is on the left and Skittles on the right.
